Oscar Nominations have been announced as of today January 10, 2013. While many amazing movies, actors and directors were announced within the nominations, there were many surprises among the many talented individuals that were not announced to have a nomination. Once of which was Leonardo DiCaprio as best actor in Django Unchained who got snubbed by the academy along with Ben Affleck as best director in Argo. And, I have to admit, while Daniel Day Lewis might be an amazing actor, the highly nominated film, Lincoln was dreary, boring and simply not worth the time.
This is a small snippet of Leonardo DiCaprio's performance in the film and decide for yourself if it seems worthy of an academy merit:
